4. Remove the two bolts and nuts retaining the brake
bar to each side of the frame (Fig. 102).

3. Remove the cotter pin and clevis pin from the brake
rod assembly where it attaches to the brake bar
(Fig. 101).
1. Disengage the brake.
2. Remove the brake return spring (Fig. 100).
