8. Route the belt around the spindles, idler pulleys and
the PTO clutch (Fig. 454).

9. With a spring puller, install the extension spring to
the idler arm assembly (Fig. 455).

12. Install the left and right deck belt covers (Fig. 457).

10. Lower the lift lever.
11. Install the lift chains with the four sets of bolts,
spacers and washers that hold the front and rear lift
chains to the mower deck (Fig. 456).
13. Raise the deck to the transport position. Remove
the 4x4 wood blocks.
