6. Loosen the two nuts located on the idler plate to
remove tension on the belt (Fig. 465).

8. Lock the blade in position with a 4 x 4 wood block
and remove the three bolts retaining the pulley to the
pulley hub (Fig. 467).

7. Slip the mower drive belt off the right mower spindle
pulley (Fig. 466).
