5. Install the bearing spacer into the spindle housing
opening (Fig. 482).

6. Install the upper ball bearing with the open end of
the bearing to the inside of the housing (Fig. 483).

8. Install the pulley hub onto the spindle shaft.
Note: The raised center of the hub faces away from
the spindle (Fig. 485).

7. Install the upper thrust washer and bearing shield
onto the spindle shaft (Fig. 484).
