Setting up the TV GuideOn Screen system (co.t ..ed)
Screen 5: Which TV input is your cable box pktgged into?
If you sdecEANT 1,screen 6 appears.
If),ou sdect VIDEO 1,screen 7 appears.
Screen 6: Sdect the channd your TV is tuned to when using
your cabIe box, and then press ENTER. Screen 7 appears.
Screen 7: The on-screen diagram shows the correc_ way to
connec_ your Cable box to the G-LINK _'*jack on the TV.
Make sure the G-LINK cable is installed properly. For
addRiona] details, see page 25.
Press ENTER to display screen 8.
Screen 8: Highhght your Cable box brand, and then press
ENTER to dispIay screen 9.
Screen 9: To allow the TV Guide On Screen system to find the
correct code fi)ryour brand of Cable box, tune your Cable
box ;o channd (t2, Ieave the Cable box and TV ON, and
then press ENTER_ Screen 10 appears.
Screen 10: The TV Guide On Screen system wiIItes_ the code
fbr the brand of Cable box you sdec_ed. Do no_ press any
keys on the TV, remo_e control, or CabIe box untiI the
testing process is compleEed. When testing is compleEed,
screen 11 appears.
Screen 11: If3_>ur Cable box tuned itsdf to channd 09 after
testing, sdect YES and press ENTER. If you sdec_ed
ANT 1 in screen 5, screen 13 appears. If you sdected
VIDEO 1in screen 5, screen 12 appears_
If your Cable box did not tune itsdfto channd (t9 after
testing and you want to test the same code again, selec_
TEST THIS CODE AGMN and press ENTER.
If you want to test a dif'fbrent code, sdec_ NO and press
ENTER. Screen 10 appears.
