A 5-inch ring (advance band) is only required for standard tyres. It is not required for
“quick fit” tyres!
A. Standard solid tyres (non-clip)
1. Select the cage and, in the case of a standard tyre, a support plate of the correct size.
2. Place the support plate in the centre of the solid tyre press.
3. Place the rim on the support plate.
4. Place the cone on the rim.
