3.2.2 Pendant Back Panel
Motor
The X, Y and/or Z motor cables are plugged in as shown.
Warning:
Never plug or unplug motor cables with the power on. This will destroy the
computer!
Z Scale
Plug in the Z scale cable.
Table Guard
For plugging in the interlock switch that is part of the optional table guard. Not
available with retrofits.
The USB Ports
There are two USB ports, use only one at a time for an optional thumb drive for
program storage, transferring programs between ProtoTRAKs and computers
and for program backup. Software updates will be through the USB port.
The ports are USB2.0 compliant.
Not all thumb drives are assured to work with the KMX. The one we supply will
definitely work and can be ordered as part number USB MEM.
