PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
1) Do not apply input voltage exceeding their maximum
rating and . never apply external voltage to the input
terminals.
CH
1
and CH2:
1 Mil. 500Vp-p or 250V (DC + AC peak)
500:
5Vrms or DC ±5V
CH3 and CH4: 50V (DC •+- AC peak)
Z-axis Input: 50V (DC + AC peak)
2) The following conditions should be avoided:
(a) Direct sunlight
(b) High temperatures and humidity
(c) Mechanical vibration
(d) Proximity to electrical noise or transient generating
machinery.
3) Do not use more than the required beam intensity.
4) Do not leave the beam stationary for long periods.
5) The CS-2100A makes use of internal battery which, if
depleted,
can cause the panel LED's not to light upon tur-
ning the unit ON. If this occurs, refer to the instruction
manual for instructions on replacing the battery.
6) To prevent electrical shocks, be sure to connect the GND
terminal to an appropriate earth point.
7) Cooling precautions.
The CS-2100A is provided with a convenient carrying
han-
dle which doubles as a stand to adjust the viewing angle.
While any arbitrary angle may be set, be sure that no ob-
jects are allowed to rest on the top of the unit or that the
cooling vents are not blocked, since this will cause an un-
due temperature rise in the CS-2100A.
8) Since the CS-2100A makes use of high voltage circuitry, if
removing the case, refer to the "MAINTENANCE" for
removing the case.
9) AC voltage selector switch setting.

CAUTION:
Before applying power to the CS-2100A be sure that the Line
Voltage Switch is set to the proper voltage. If this is not done
damage to the CS-2100A could result.
After verifying the setting, connect the AC Power Cord to the
line power source.
