DOs and DON’Ts
DOs
1. Do place the printer on uniform surface.
2. Do use TVS-E Genuine Ribbons and Inkbanks, for better
print quality and long Printhead life.
3. Rotate the ribbon in the direction shown on the ribbon
cassette.
4. Do adjust head gap while using multi-part stationery.
5. Always stack the continuous sheet below the printer stand
to avoid paper jam.
6. Close the Top cover while printing, to guide the paper
properly to exit path. This also prevents dust entering
into the printer.
DON’Ts
1. Avoid placing your printer exposed to direct heat or
sunlight.
2. Do not print on platen / paper when the ribbon is not
installed.
3. Do not unplug / plug the interface cable when the printer
is ON.
4. Do not lubricate the plastic parts, Printhead, paper moving
paths.
5. Do not hold or reverse the platen knob while the printing
is ON.
6. Do not use abrasive cloth, alcohol, paint thinner or similar
agents to avoid discoloration and scratching.
7. Do not move the Printhead, when the printer is in ON
condition.
