Single sheet loading or feeding problems
The printer does not load single-sheet paper or does
not feed it properly
1. Place the paper select lever in rear position, if found
otherwise. For more information on setting the paper select
lever, see chapter 4.
2. Set the paper thickness lever to match the thickness of
your paper. For more information on paper thickness lever,
see chapter 4.
3. Make sure that you are using new, clean sheets of paper
and not the creased, old paper.
4. Make sure the single sheet paper is loaded properly.

chapter 4.
5. The continuous sheet may be in the paper path. Press the
START/STOP an paper feed switches simultaneously till
the paper comes out of the printer. Now follow the
instructions in chapter 4 on “Switching the paper path “
The printer does not fully eject the single paper
1. The paper may be too long.
2. Make sure the page length of your paper is within
the range specified in the manual.
