AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL
1. Stop the engine after idling for about ten (10) minutes.
2. Open the top panel and check for leakage. Pull out the level gauge
and wipe down the tip of the gauge with a clean cloth.
3. Insert the level gauge to the limit and gently pull it out again.
4. Make sure that the uid adhered to the tip of the gauge is not
extremely worn, discolored or contaminated by foreign substances.
Also check if the uid level is within the proper range.
5. If uid is insufcient, rell with the specied uid so that the level
gauge reads the proper range.
CAUTION
!
Do not operate the lift truck with insufcient automatic
transmission uid, because the truck transmission could
stop operating.
If the transmission uid is extremely worn, discolored or
contains foreign substances, immediately report it the proper
authority or contact your Local Authorized Dealer.
REFILLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
Automatic transmission uid can be added through the level gauge
hole. Checking the uid level with the level gauge, pour OEM uid into
the level gauge hole until the uid level is in the proper range (refer to
page 128).
CAUTION
!
Carefully add transmission uid so as not to mix dust and
foreign substances in the uid.
Do not use any automatic transmission uid other than those
specied by the OEM, it may cause a malfunction in the
torque converter. Not only deterioration in the performance
of the lift truck but could result in an accident.
