Instance Attribute “Host Name”
The TCP/IP Interface Object has an instance attribute named “Host Name”, having the Attribute
Identifier 6

, which contains the device’s host name. The maximum length is 64 ASCII characters.
The name is padded to an even number of characters. Attribute Host Name is used just for infor-
mation purpose.
6.2.1.5 Ethernet Link Object, Class 0xF6
Ethernet Link Object provides interface to Ethernet link counters and attributes. With this object,
user can retrieve for example link speed.
