Protection of the parameterization
In this menu item you can also protect the parameter adjustment of
the sensor.
For this function you need the six-digit device code.
The device code can also be found in the " PINs and Codes" sheet of
the shipping documentation.

After a reset, parameter adjustments made by the user are reset.
The following reset functions are available:
Restore basic settings: Resetting the parameter settings incl. spe-
cial parameters to the default values of the respective device.
Restore delivery status: Restores the parameter settings at the time
ofshipmentfromthefactory,incl.order-specicsettings.Thismenu
itemisonlyavailableiforder-specicsettingsareavailable.

The default values set at the factory can be found in the table of the
menu plan at the beginning of this chapter.

Parametermodicationcounter
The display " Device status" provides an overview of the current
status of the device.
If fault messages or other information are available, a corresponding
message is displayed here.
The display " Status outputs" gives an overview of the current status
of the device outputs.
The menu item " Parametermodicationcounter" gives a quick
overview of whether the device has undergone a change in the
parameters.
The value is increased by one each time the parameters of the device
are changed. The value is retained in the event of a reset.
In this menu item you can retrieve the pointer function of the device.
For each pointer there is a max. and a min. value.
In addition, the current value is displayed.
