Step 1 : Remove disc brake
pad spacer from the calliper
To correctly place your front wheel
into the front fork, you rst need to
remove the plastic spacer between the
brake pads at the end of the front fork.
Removing this spacer creates space for
the brake disc aached to your wheel to
go between it.
Step 2 : Place front wheel
Unscrew the bolts in the front wheel
with both of the Allen keys 6’. Li the
front part of the bike and insert the
front wheel into the front fork. You
must ensure that the brake disc at-
tached to the front wheel is correctly
placed between the disc brake pads
in the calliper.
Step 3 : Aach front wheel
and tighten fender
Firmly tighten the two bolts on both
sides of the front fork endings. Use
both Allen keys 6’ to tighten (15 Nm)
and rotate at the same time.
Place the fender in the correct po-
sition and tighten the bolts with the
Allen key 5’ (8 Nm)
Don’t use the brake levers
on the handlebar aer you
remove the brake pad spac-
er. The brake pads will be
pushed together without the
brake disc between them
when using the brake levers.
When this happens, only use
a plastic tool to open it, to
prevent damage.
Don’t touch the brake disc
on the surface. Any grease
on the brake disc can cause
poor performance of your
brake system. Disk brakes
can easily be cleaned with
brake disc cleaner and
some cloth.
The fender should be
straight and not to close to
the wheel to prevent noisy
sounds and tire damage.
