3. Before Your First Ride
We equipped the Electric Two with a hydraulic disc brake system. A disc brake system means you must break-in the brakes to ensure
good brake performance and a longer timespan. First, go to a safe area low on trac and follow these instructions.
3.06 Break in disc brakes
You must break in the brakes to ensure safe riding. During this process, the brake pads will get heated, which creates a specic
layer on the brakes. The layer that is formed provides the brakes with a good quality performance.
Step 2 : Using brakes
Firmly press the right brake until you return at a walking pace,
and repeat 20 times. Next, do the same for the le brake.
Always be very careful of using the front brake to
slow done. The front brake can slow the bike very
quickly and can transport almost all the weight to the
front wheel. When the weight shi is very high it can
cause the rider going over the handlebar.
Step 1 : Ride and accelerate
Hop on your bike and start to ride. Accelerate to
approximately 20 KMpH.
Get familiar with your brakes. Be aware that the right
brake lever on the handlebar is to brake the bike’s
rear wheel. The le brake lever is to brake the front
wheel.
