Terminal Screen Next Step
7. Once the transaction has been processed,
the terminal screen will display whether the
transaction has been approved or declined.
Note: If a chip card was inserted and is yet to be
removed, you’ll be prompted to remove the card.
The terminal will beep as a reminder if the card
isn’t removed.
8. The terminal will prompt for a customer copy
of the receipt to be printed or emailed.
For further information on emailing receipts,
refer to section 6.6.
Tips can also be added on a purchase transaction with a Cash Out component.
Important: Always check the receipt to confirm the transaction has been approved.
