Maintenance
> Turn the cutting discs by hand until the damaged knife is in the
position shown.
> Use a suitable tool to remove the bolt.
> Replace the knife.
> Inspect the bolt for wear.
• If the bolt is damaged or worn, it must be changed.
NB
The minimum diameter of the bolt must not be less than 16 mm (
5
/
8”).
> Mount the knife and bolt.
> Tighten the bolt with a torque wrench to a torque of 95 Nm (70 ft/lb).
NB
If the machine is fitted with knife quick release*, the same requirement
applies for bolt wear.

> Close the guards around the machine's cutterbar.
> Fit the pin.
