 Remove the worn stone guard and counter knife.
 Fit the new stone guard and counter knife.
Stone guards and counter knives with visible holes caused by heavy
wear must be replaced immediately.
 Remove the support.
 Open the mechanical safety valve.
 Activate the tractor hydraulics and lower the cutting unit of the
machine.
