Carry out a visual inspection of the machine's stone guard and
counter knife for wear.
Stone guards and counter knives with visible holes caused by heavy
wear must be replaced immediately.

Remove the support.
Open the mechanical safety valve.
Activate the tractor hydraulics and lower the cutting unit of the
machine.
