For heating systems with several heating circuits we recommend the
use of other boiler and heating circuit control units (e.g. Vitotronic 200
or Vitotronic 300).

Setting heating programs
The heating system frost protection (see frost protection function)
applies to all heating programs.
You can select the following operating programs with the program
keys:
■ Heating and DHW
■ Only DHW
■ Standby mode
Standby mode
No DHW heating takes place in "Standby mode".
In summer, the burner is switched ON if the boiler water temperature
reaches 5 °C and is switched OFF again when the boiler water tem-
perature reaches 42 °C.
The heating circuit pump will be switched OFF from 16 March to
15 October.
From 16 October to 15 March it will then be switched ON on
demand.
Summer mode
("DHW only")
The burner starts only when the DHW cylinder needs reheating (con-
trolled by the cylinder thermostat).
The respective lower boiler water temperature of each boiler is main-
tained.
