SQUEEGEE CLEANING
NOTE
The squeegee must be clean, and its blades must be in good conditions to get a good drying.
CAUTION!
It is advisable to wear protective gloves when cleaning the squeegee because there may be
sharp debris.
1. Push the machine to a level floor.
2. Ensure that the machine is off.
3. Lower the brush/pad-holder deck (M, Figure 8) and the squeegee (L) by lifting the pedal (K).
4. Disconnect the vacuum hose (B, Figure 15) from the squeegee (C).
5. Loosen the knobs (D) and remove the squeegee (E).
6. Clean the steel or the plastic squeegee (E, Figure 15). Clean the compartments (I) and the hole (H) especially.
Check the front blade (F) and the rear blade (G) for integrity, cuts and tears; if necessary replace them (see the
procedure in the following paragraph).
7. Assemble the squeegee in the reverse order of disassembly.
