5.2. Decoder Menus
5.2.1. Inputs
Configure the input source for decoding. Options:
From Demodulator
From External ASI Connector
From Packet Diversity Function
NOTE: From Packet Diversity Function is the diversified signal from both ‘ASI
in’ and the demodulator.
5.2.2. Settings
The Standard options are:
HEVC (H.265) UHD
HEVC dual HD
AVC (H.264)
MPEG-2
With the video format mode set to auto, the current detected format displays.
In Manual, select the format from the menu list.
Force to PSF is available for non-UHD formats.
Set the delay mode of the decoder to match that of the transmitter.
NOTE: The lowest latencies are only available from a Vislink transmitter.
UHD formats set the mode of the video outputs to either quad-split (4 x 3G) or
2SI.
NOTE: When the unit is set to quad split output, the delay is fixed.
Adjust Video PTS and Audio PTS values to correct for A/V delay errors. Set any
Vislink HEVC transmitter values to zero.
