7.9 TROUBLESHOOTING
7.9.1 Self Test
The
VISUAL
200 contains a self test feature which
is
activated
each
time
the terminal
is
turned on.
When
the terminal
is
turned on the
Caps
Only
LED
and
the On LED
are
illumi-
nated. The self test checks the RAM memory
for
failures and checks the program PROMs
for
validity using a check sum. Upon successful completion
of
these tests the
Caps
Only
LED
is
extinguished and the cursor
is
di~played.
