Menu/Confirm Key:
• Themenu/confirmkeyisusedtoenterintothemenu.WheninthemenupressUpandDownarrowkeys

• Wheninthemenupressthemenu/confirmkeyagaintoindicatethattheparameterwillbeadjusted.
Thevalueflashes.
• Aftersettingtheparameterpressthemenu/confirmkeyagain.Thisconfirmsacceptingthenewparameter
andreturningtothemainmenu.
Manual/Return Key:
• PressingtheManual/ReturnKeywhennotinthemenustateallowsyoutofinishworkinginyourcurrent
menuandgoingtoanalternativemenuimmediately.
• TheManual/ReturnkeyallowsyoutogofromtheAdvanceSettingsbacktothemainmenu.
• When display screen is in service mode the Manual/Return key can be used to start a manual
regeneration.
Down and Up Keys:
• TheUpandDownarrowkeysallowyoutoscrolldownandupthroughthemenu.
• TheUpandDownarrowkeysallowsadjustingparameterswhenintheset-upmenu.
• WhentheUpandDownKeysarepressedtogetherfor5secondstheset-upmenuisunlocked.
• WhenpressingtheDownandUpkeystoadjustaparameteranumberischangedincrementallyper
press.Whenholdingthekeyforlongerthan1.5secondallowsyoutoscrollthroughnumbersatthe
rate of 1numberevery0.2seconds.Holding the key longer than 3 seconds advances the number
changeatarateof20per0.2secondsforrapidscrolling.
Types of Salt and Level to Maintain in a Softener:
Thebrinewellinthebrinetankislabeledwithredlinesforminimum
andmaximumlevelforsaltloadinginsidethecabinet.Alwaysmaintain
the salt level between the minimum and maximum levels to prevent
“bridging”.Thetypesofsaltthatshouldbeusedinclude:solarorpellets.
Ifpelletsareusedacleaningofthebrinetankisrecommendedeverysix
months.AsodiumalternativetosoftenwateristousePotassiumChloride
whichis99%sodiumfree.Thisreducessodiumlevelsinsoftenedwater
andchloridedischargesintotheenvironment.
