5.8.3 Antenna connector ANT, DIV and GPS (alternatively WIFI or WMBUS)
Main and diversity antennas are connected t o the router using the SMA connector on the
front panel. In the F u l l v e r s i o n of the router is also a v a i l a b l e the third SMA antenna connector,
through which the additional antenna can be connected (in case of the WIFI e x p a n s i o n port is
used, this connector is reve rs e – RSMA).
The router can not operate without connecting the main antenna marked as ANT.
ANT connector is used t o connect the main antenna router. T o connect the diversity an-
t e n n a is used the second antenna connector DIV. The third connector (GPS) in the full v e r s i o n
of the router is used for additional antenna intended for GPS (router supports active GPS an-
t e n n a ) . On user’s req ue s t, this antenna connector can be modified t o WIFI or WMBUS.

F o r connection the antenna is used SMA connector. The antenna is connected b y screwing
this antenna to the SMA connector on the front panel of the router (see figure below).

Diversity antenna improves radio f e a t u r e s of the router at low signal strength.
