6. If the vehicle has cruise control, disconnect the cruise cable throttle clip from the throttle
linkage.
7. Install the supplied throttle pull bracket onto the cruise spindle so that the bent-over tab fits
inwards and is pulled under the radius of the throttle arm until it is tight.
8. Reconnect the OEM cruise cable throttle clip to the spindle.
9. If the vehicle does not have cruise control, install the bracket in the same manner and retain
it with the supplied plastic throttle clip.
10. Remove the OEM bolt securing the throttle/cruise control cables to the inlet manifold. Lift
up the bracket and fit the supplied throttle cable securing bracket under the OEM bracket
on the throttle side.
11. Refit the OEM cable bracket on top and behind the VR7000 bracket. Route the cruise
control cable through the slotted clearance hole in the VR7000 bracket (the cruise cable
remains fixed to the OEM bracket).
12. Remove the nut and washer from the end of the controller cable, insert it through the drilled
hole at the top of the fitted VR7000 bracket, reinstall the washer and nut and tighten them.
