Removing the luggage compartment cover

Unhook the fastening straps of the tailgate →

Storing the luggage compartment cover

Depending on the equipment, the luggage
compartment cover can be stored under the
variable luggage compartment floor after
removal. To do this, the cover must be turned
upside down.
To prevent damage to the luggage compartment
cover, load the luggage compartment so that the
cover does not press against the load when the
tailgate is closed.

Opening the luggage compartment floor
Grasp the luggage compartment floor by the recess

floor and lift it up.
Closing the luggage compartment floor
Place the luggage compartment floor in its par-
ticular position → .
Do not drop the luggage compartment floor when
closing it. Always guide it down in a controlled
manner. Otherwise, the trim or the luggage
compartment floor could be damaged.
If animals or objects are transported loose or
improperly secured on the deck of the lorry, they
could damage the deck and cause serious injury in
the event of braking, sudden manoeuvring, etc.,
and may cause damage to the deck.
