The Keyless Access system can be set so that
pressing the button unlocks only the driver's door
or all doors.
The following settings can be made:
— To unlock: Press the button once to unlock the
driver's door.
Pressing the key twice unlocks all doors.
— To lock: Press the button once to lock the
driver's door.
Pressing the key twice locks all doors.
If the Keyless Access system is deactivated, its
function may be limited.
Temporarily deactivate the "Keyless Ac- cess"
system
To prevent unauthorised third parties from
unlocking and starting the vehicle, the Keyless
Access system can be temporarily deactivated as
follows:
— Lock the vehicle using the key on the vehicle
key.
— Also, within 5 seconds, touch the sensor on the
outside of the door handle → fig. 43 B once.
When doing so, do not grip the handle.
— The Keyless Access system is temporarily
deactivated.
— Check deactivation by pulling the door handle
after at least 10 seconds. It should not be
possible to open the door.
The next time the vehicle can only be unlocked with
the vehicle key. After unlocking, the "Keyless
Access" system will be activated again.
Using the comfort functions
All power windows and the glass roof can be
closed automatically.
— Hold a finger on the sensing surface

Unlocking and locking the vehicle
Unblock:
- Touch the sensor surface → fig. 43

— Switch off the ignition.
— Close the door.

Unlocking the vehicle is confirmed by a double
flashing of the direction indicators; locking is
confirmed by a single flashing of the direction
indicators.
Unlocking and locking the luggage compartment
door
When the vehicle is locked, the tailgate unlocks
automatically when it is opened if there is a vehicle
key in the vicinity of the tailgate → fig. 42.
After closing, the tailgate locks automatically.
If the whole vehicle is unlocked, the tailgate will
not lock automatically after closing.
