TEST DEVICE SIGNAL STRENGTH
Before you mount any of your devices, follow the
instructions below to check the signal strength between
the device and the telephone base. Make sure you mount
the device in a location where the signal strength is good.
1. Press MENU/OK when the phone is not in use, and
then press
/ to scroll to SET DEVICE.
2. Press MENU/OK to select CHECK SIGN.
3. Press MENU/OK and then press
/ to scroll to the
device you want to test.
4. Press MENU/OK The handset screen displays
PLS TRIGGER THE DEVICE. Trigger your device (refer
to the Installation Guide of your respective device).
5. Press MENU/OK The handset screen displays
AWAITING SIGNAL....
• If the handset screen displays NO SIGNAL,
press MENU/OK, and then return to step 2 to
test again.
• If the handset screen displays WEAK SIGNAL,
move the device closer to the base, and
then adjust the device’s location to improve the
signal. Press MENU/OK, and then return to
step 2 to test again.
6. When the handset screen displays GOOD SIGNAL,
press MENU/OK. The testing is complete.
