Operation
Continued from the previous page.
• Do not operate the generator anywhere inside a home or building. This includes
the garage (c), entryway, porch, or sun room (d), living area or work space (e), or
basement or
crawl space (f). Operating the generator inside a home or building
can be fatal even
if
fans, open doors, or open windows are used for ventilation.
• ONLY
use a generator outside (a), and far away from homes, buildings,
windows, doors, and vents. Windows, doors, and vents can pull
in
generator
exhaust.
• Point the engine exhaust (b) away from homes, buildings, windows, doors, and
vents.
Also, point the engine exhaust away from combustible materials.
•
Position the generator on firm, level ground so that it will not slide or shift.
