7.3 Replacing the lter elements

The lter elements are made by using polyester-based NON-WOVEN FABRICS coated through special sur-
face treatment.
During the maintenance phases the lter elements can be cleaned thoroughly to increase their durability. The
cleaning can be performed simply by mechanical shaking or using compressed air at 6 bar and making sure
not to release the dust thus generated into the atmosphere.
Danger - Warning
Cleaning with water is NOT permitted, as it could lead to loss of eciency, shortening and breakage
of the element.
7.2 Cleaning the equipment (the machine)
Clean the outside part of the equipment (the machine) using a vacuum cleaner to prevent dispersal of dust in
the environment and in the surrounding area; or use a moist cloth.
Do not use compressed air.
Wash the equipment (after vacuuming the dust and having removed the lter elements) with a low pressure
water jet.
