The device must be acclimatised to the ambient temperature. Great differences between the device
temperature and that of the environment can lead to the formation of condensation obstructing the
optical system, which in turn will lead to incorrect measurements.
The sampling chamber must be free from water or humidity, otherwise there will be the risk of
damage to the electronics inside the device.
Please calibrate your PrimeLab on a regular basis (at least once per month) as described under
‘Settings‘ to obtain the best possible measurement results.
PrimeLab must remain on a flat surface while testing as otherwise the LED light will not pass
correctly through the sample water, leading to incorrect results.
