The HMI is connected to the MVC4 board via connector XC8.3.
WARNING!
It is not recommended to connect the HMI to the MVC4 board with power applied to the control
rack.
4.2 STARTING THE USE OF THE HMI
The HMI works as the communication master. When the panel is energized, the HMI performs a parameter
initialization with the MVC4 board. During this process the firmware versions of the HMI and of the MVW3000
control boards are exhibited.
The information of the parameters being transferred and a progress bar are exhibited during the initialization process
(refer to Figure 4.3 on page 4-3).
