19.2 Cleaning
For perfect cleaning and eciency of the appliance,
several simple cleaning operations are necessary on
the functional parts and accessories as well as the body
panels. The indications given here are applicable for
normal use of the coee machine. If the machine is
used continuously, then cleaning should be performed
more frequently.
Before cleaning the machine, turn it o the machine
and let it cool o.

When cleaning, always use cloths that are
completely clean and hygienic.To guarantee the
correct operation and hygiene of the machine, it
is necessary to use cleaning methods and products
suitable for the purpose. Do not immerge the
machine into water. Never use alkaline detergents,
solvents, alcohol or aggressive substances. The
descaling of the machine has to be performed
by specialized technicians, by disassembling the
components with deposits, so that no descaling
debris is put into circulation. The used products/
detergents have to be suitable for this purpose
and must not corrode the materials of the hydraulic
circuits
Cleaning operations should not be carried out by
children without supervision.
Do not spill any liquids or use direct water jets on
the machine.
19 Cleaning
19.1 Automatic washing of the unit
Perform the automatic washing of the group as
follows:
t Enter the specic detergent in a blind lter holder
and hook and tighten it to the unit
;
t on the keyboard of the unit to be washed, press
and hold the (+
) key for at least 10 seconds
(the LED of the (+
) will ash);
t to activate the wash press the (+
) key again
(MODE
) and (+ ) keys ashing - versions
with a display show this message:
t wait for the complete execution of the 5 automa-
tic wash cycles (approximately 1 minute);
t after the rst wash cycle indicated by a ashing
LED corresponding to the (+
) key, remove the
blind lter holder from the unit
;
t to activate the rinse press the (+ ) key,
(ENTER
)
and (- ) keys ashing - versions
with a display show this message:
t wait for the complete execution of the automatic
rinse cycle (approximately 1 minute)
t at the end of the rinse cycle, the machine is ready
for the normal use.

Multiple units can be washed simultaneously, each
keyboard controls a reference unit.

To wash the unit only use specic detergent.
In case of blackout during the wash or rinse phase,
at the next start, the machine will propose to carry
out the washing of the unit again. You will need
to perform the operation again to eliminate any
presence of detergent in the unit.
