4.2 Tool Calibration Overtravel Alarm
Cause
An alarm in port Tool Protect. And it may be caused by the following causes:
1. Tool presetter is broken.
2. Z-axis keeps moving down during tool calibration because of no signal of tool
calibration.
3. Lambda terminal board failure.
Solution
1. Check the wiring, and replace the tool presetter.
2. Check the wiring, and replace the tool presetter.
3. Replace Lambda terminal board.
4.3 Z-axis Overtravel Protection
Cause
1. Too large offset of tool length for Z-axis.
2. An exception in Z-axis workpiece offset or public offset.
3. An exception in Z-axis coordinate.
Solution
1. Execute tool calibration again, and adjust the tool length.

2. Check the workpiece offset and public offset for Z-axis.
See Adjust the WCS for details.
3. Check the program file and see if the value of Z-axis coordinate is too large.
