3.4 Define the Workpiece Origin
Based on a certain point on the workpiece, this operation is used to define the
workpiece origin, which is fixed relative to the certain point and mobile relative to
the machine origin.
The selection of origin of WCS should meet the conditions of simple programming,
simple dimensional conversion, and small machining error, etc.
To define the workpiece origin, do the following:
1. To enter into Coor interface, in JOG/Handle/Step mode, press → 1:
2. Do one of the following:
– Do clearing.
– Do centering: it is suggested to do it in Handle mode.
