3. Optional: If the current configuration is not the desired one, press ↑ or ↓ to
move to the desired one, and press F7.
Press F7 to restart the software and validate the modification.
Axis Configuration
• Three-axis configuration
– Three Axes Standard: including X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis.
– Double Y: including X-axis, Y1 axis, Y2 axis and Z-axis
– Rotary Table: including X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis. Y-axis is rotatory table.
• Four-axis configuration
– Four Axes (A Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, and A-axis.
– Four Axes (B Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, and B-axis.
– Four Axes(C Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, and C-axis.
• Five-axis configuration
– Five Axes (AB Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, A-axis and B-axis.
– Five Axes (AC Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, A-axis and C-axis.
– Five Axes (BC Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, B-axis and C-axis.
– Five Not Union (AC Model): including X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis, A-axis and C-
axis. C-axis is non-linkage axis, which can not move with other axes
simultaneously.
2.2 Adjust I/O Port Polarity
This operation is used to adjust polarities of input / output ports in the software in
terms of the switch type, and clear alarms of I/O ports, so as to monitor the status of
the machine tool.
The polarities of input/output ports in the software are specified in terms of the
switch type:
• The polarity of normally closed switches should be NC
• The polarity of normally open switches should be NO.
Relationship between the status of the machine tool and I/O ports is as follows:
• Input port: means no signal; while means having a signal.
• Output port: means no signal; while means having a signal.
Before adjusting I/O port polarity, ensure that the machine tool is well connected,
and powered on.
