Bimetal check: There must be an electrical

continuity between the orange and white wires.

Thermofuse check: There must be an electrical

continuity between the brown and blue wires.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostic:

Freezer temperature too warm

Over temperature alarm always on (*)

(*) Note: The over temperature alarm is active ONLY on appliances produced before june 2007.

Possible reason:

Gas

leakage.

Check with a leakage spray all

soldered places or measure the

pressure in the cooling cycle.

If there exist a leakage or there is not

enough cooling gas inside, make the

repair to the present valid regulations

of cooling cycles.

Possible reason: Evaporator completely iced.

Thermofuse & bimetal Defrost heater Main Board

Could be the result of defect…

Check the resistance

value of the heating

element. It must be

between 84-94 

Only when everything is

checked and correct

working, you have to

change the Main Board.

Check the heater

connection (with BI test

and visually).
