Safety and warranty
Please observe the following instructions so as to
prevent problems with and damage to the coffee
machine:
• For drinking water with carbonate hardness from
5°dKH or higher, aWMFwater filter must be
fitted. Failing to use the water filter recommended
by WMFService may damage the coffee machine
(e.g.due to scale deposits).
• For insurance reasons always ensure that, at the end
of operation, the mains switch is switched off or the
device is unplugged. For machines with aconstant
water supply, the water mains tap for the inlet pipe
must be closed.
• We recommend damage prevention measures,
suchas:
- installation of asuitable water monitor in the
mains water supply
- installation of smoke alarms
• After acompany holiday (several days or weeks)
we recommend running the cleaning mode at least
twice before reusing the machine.
