5.1 Care safety instructions
Regular cleaning is essential in order to ensure
problem-free operation of the coffee machine and to
ensure optimum coffee quality.
Health hazard/hygiene
• Milk is very sensitive. Germs that can pose
ahealth hazard can build up in the milk
system.
> Clean the milk system daily.
> For coffee machines without Plug&Clean, also
perform manual cleaning of the combi spout
after the end of operations each day.
> For coffee machines with Plug&Clean, also
perform manual cleaning of the combi spout
once per week after the end of operations.
> Replace the milk hose at regular intervals.
> Change the mixer hose at regular intervals.
> Follow all hygiene instructions.
> Follow the HACCP cleaning schedule.
Health hazard/hygiene
• Germs can multiply in acoffee machine that
is not in use.
> Prior to and after every instance that the
machine is shut off for several days, perform
all cleanings.
