XCT80 truck crane is equipped with 3 hooks, which are main hook (80t hook), middle hook (40t
hook) and auxiliary hook (7t hook) respectively, with the maximum ratio for main hook, middle hook
and auxiliary hook of 12, 6 and 1 respectively. The selection of hook shall comply with the lifting
weight and ratio from Table 5-3 and 5-4 (main and Auxiliary Boom Performance Table) in Chapter 5 of
Operation Manual.
The auxiliary hook is mainly used for auxiliary operations. When requirement of lifting speed
is relatively high and the lifting weight is lighter, auxiliary hook is recommended to be used. The
auxiliary hook generally cooperates with the auxiliary arm for hoisting, or is used simultaneously with
the main hook.
