Chapter 4 Construction instructions
To ensure the crane in the best working
condition, besides the operator must pass the
professional training and obtain the qualification
certicate, planning before using the crane is the
important premise of safety operation.
The operator should verify the following
necessary working data before driving the crane
to the construction site, and before starting the
crane operation, should pay special attention to
the following content:
a. Temperature and wind speed of the
operation site;
b. The operation site location (mileage
need drive );
c. Driving route;
d. Driving space height and lateral side
clearance;
e. Overhead wires and cables conditions;
f. Space requirements of the operation
site
g. Surrounding buildings limits to the crane
moving and the operation conditions;
h. Total weight and shape size of the lifting
heavy weight, and the required lifting height
and amplitude;
i. Geological conditions or ground bearing
capacity of the operation site.
After obtained the more details above, the
crane operators can just determine and select the
appropriate accessories:
a. Hook;
b. Rigging;
c. Auxiliary arm;
d. Counter weight;
e. Pad wood beneath foot plate etc.
4-1 Planning
The operator should grasp the full
information, so that successfully nish the work.
If to work with inadequate preparation, accidents
may happen at any time.
