The crane safety operation general- -
requirements as follows:
1. When the operator operating the crane,
not allowed engaging in other operations of
distracting attention.
2. When the physical strength and spirit of
the operator is uncomfortable, not operate the
crane.
3. The line sight of the driver on the
weight and the operation area should be clear
and unobstructed. If not, the operator do the
operation under the command of the slingers
and the command personnel, and the slingers
and the command personnel should be located
on the apparent position where the line sight
of the operator is not blocked. Operator and
(or) the command personnel should ensure that
the lifting steel wire rope completely avoids
obstacles.
4. The operator should accept the command
of the crane operation command signal from
the crane operation personnel. When the
crane operation does not need the signalman,
drivers are responsible for the crane operation.
Whenever, the driver should always perform
stop signals issued from any person.
5. The operator is responsible for the

operation by himself directly controlled.
Whenever doubting about the unsafe condition,
the operator should have a consultation with
management before lifting goods.
6. Before leaving the unattended crane, the
operator should do the following requirements
a. The lifted load should be put on the

ground, not suspended;
b. Switch on the operation mechanism
brake or other safety device;
c. Lift the lifting appliance to the specied
location;
d. According to the situations to disconnect
the power or separate the main clutch;
e. Place all controllers in "zero" or neutral positions;
f. Fix the crane steady to prevent unwanted
movement;
g. Before the power on or switching on
the device, the operator should check all the
controllers, so that they are all located in "zero"
or neutral positions. All the eld personnel are
in the safe area.
7. If the power failure occurred during the
operation, the operator should accomplish the
following requirements:
a. In suitable conditions, switch on the
operation mechanism brake or other safety
device;
b. Cut off all the power supply or make the
clutch be located in neutral position;
c. If feasible, can be with the help of the
brake control to put the suspended load on the
ground.
8. The operator should be familiar with
the equipment and the equipment normal
maintenance. Such as the crane needing debug
or repair, the operator should report the situation
rapidly to managers and inform the take-over
personnel.
9. At the beginning of every working class,
the operator should test all control apparatus,
if the control device operation is abnormal, it
should be debugged and repaired before the
lifting machinery operation.
