Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP)
SSDP provides a mechanism which network clients can use to discover network services.
To enable SSDP:
1. At your Workstation, open the Web browser and enter the TCP/IP Address of the machine in the
Address bar.
2. Press Enter.
3. Click on the Properties tab.
4. Click on the Connectivity link.
5. Click on the Protocols link.
6. Click on the SSDP link.
7. Check the Enable Checkbox.
8. Set the SSDP Time-To-Live (TTL) to a value between 1 and 60 hops.
9. Click the apply button to save the changes.
