8. Return the document feeder tray to its original position.
9. Reinsert originals in the document feeder.
Caution: Torn, wrinkled or folded originals may cause jams and damage the printer. To copy them,
use the document glass.
Clearing Paper Jams in the Transfer Module
Warning: Do not perform this operation when the printer is copying or printing.
1. Open the printer front cover.

2. Turn green handle 2 to the right until it stops in the horizontal position, then pull the transfer
module straight out until it stops.
Warning: The area around the fuser may be hot. Use caution to avoid injury.
