Note
You can also go to Settings > Safety & emergency > Wireless emergency alerts
to enable Allow alerts.
Enable Emergency SOS
1. Go to Settings > Passwords & security > Emergency SOS .
2. Tap to enable Emergency SOS.
3. Tap Add to add at least one emergency contact.
Note
You can press the Power button 5 times rapidly to send an SOS text message with your
location to your emergency contacts.
Find my device
You can enable Use Find My Device to find, lock, or reset the phone if it is lost.
Note
Find My Device does not work until you add a Google account.
1. Go to
Settings > Password & security > Privacy .
2. Tap Find My Device.
3. Tap to enable Use Find My Device. Use Find My Device is usually ena-
bled by default.
4. Tap Find My Device or Find My Device web to find the phone.
Show passwords
The feature displays characters briefly as you type.
