You can go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Additional settings > Wi-Fi Direct to
connect the phone to other Wi-Fi Direct devices directly.
Bluetooth
You can connect your phone with earphones, speakers, and other devices with
Bluetooth functionality. You can also use Bluetooth to share data between your
phone and other devices.
Pair a phone with Bluetooth
The following steps take the connection between a Xiaomi phone and another
Xiaomi phone as an example.
1. Go to
Settings > Bluetooth .
2. Tap to enable Bluetooth on both phones.
Available devices show up when your enable Bluetooth.
3. Tap the name of Phone B in Phone A.
4. Tap Pair in the pop up windows of the two phones.
Note
The two phones need to enable Bluetooth and stay in an eective distance. The
phones search for devices automatically, then you can see the names of available devi-
ces.
Tip
You can also swipe down from the upper-right corner of the phone to enable Blue-
tooth on the Control center.
Rename a device
When you enable Bluetooth, other nearby devices can see the name.
1. Go to
Settings > Bluetooth > Device name .
2. Enter the device name.
3. Tap .
Pair compatible devices
You can quickly connect to earphones, speakers, and other compatible devices.
