1. Oil filter wrench
NOTE:

An oil filter wrench is available at a nearby
Yamaha dealer.

6. Install the drain bolt and tighten it to the
specified torque.
1. Torque wrench
7. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-
ring of the new oil filter cartridge.
NOTE:
_
Make sure the O-ring is seated properly.
_
8. Install the oil filter cartridge, and then
tighten it to the specified torque with a
torque wrench.
Tightening torque:
Drain bolt:
23 Nm (2.3 m·kgf, 17 ft·lbf)
Tightening torque:
Oil filter cartridge:
17 Nm (1.7 m·kgf, 12 ft·lbf)
