DANTE SOUND OUTPUT CHECK
1) Connect Dante of the QL unit and PC with the Ether cable.
2) Connect MIDI IN of the QL unit and USB port of PC with UX16.
3) Loading AllData (SEISAN1.CLF) for sound output check.
4) Activate Cubase (Sound output check of DSP6 on desk-top).
5) Activate Dante Virtual Sound (short-cut available on desk-top) and turn
on the power marked switch of the setting tab.
6) After activating Dante Controller (short-cut available on desk-top),
select File and then Load Preset to load “Dante DSP6 sound output
check preset”.
Check to ensure that the screen appears as shown right gure.
If the screen is not as shown right figure, turn on patch manually as
follows.
7) Return to the beginning by using the
button of Cubase and press the
red round button for sound reproduction.(Refer to the gure below)
(the
button is also usable for sound reproduction (check) but it is
better to keep the recorded data on the Cubase side.)
Scenes 5 to 38 are recalled successively.
(Scene 37 represents the scene data when muted and Scene 38 represents the scene data for checking sound input/output of DANTE.)
8) Con rm that no noise is output for 15 seconds.
CubaseAdding an audio track from a CD
Select
[Add Audio Track]
from the right-click mouse menu on the audio track listing, or add an audio track in
[Audio] – [Add Track]
– [Project]
from the menu.
When the dialog box below appears, click the
[Add Track]
button.
Con rm that the recording of the added tracks (as with Track 7 in the gure at right) is off,
and that there is not input bus set.
