Applied
to
the DX7,
RAM

refer
to
the internal

These

differ
from
conventional
RAM's in
that
they retain
theirmemory
after

is turned
off,
without
the
use of
a basckup

This
is
due
to their
special EEPROM

Erasable
Programmable
Read Only
Memory)
technologey.
RAM
cartridges
can not
be
used to
store function
data from
the DX7,
but
function

using
the
DX5

be stored
on
the QXI's floppy
